Before you start
- Know the parent account and its linked profiles.
- Read the privacy notice for general site information.
Separate the roles
The parent manages profiles, access and payments. The child uses their username and PIN to learn in their own space. Do not share the parent password as a workaround for lesson or subscription problems.
Join the first sessions to understand the buttons and displayed information together. Explain that PINs, payment codes and family information should not be included in creations or exercise answers.
Check what others can see
The portal processes information including the parent account, children’s profiles, progress and submitted creations. Screens have different visibility: requiring an account does not mean something is visible only to your family.
- Gallery: drawings approved by the parent are shown to signed-in users with the information visible on their cards.
- Leaderboard: the profile’s displayed name, age and activity indicators may appear to signed-in users.
- Certificates: someone with the identifier can use public verification and see the name on the document, the module or path and its issue date.
- External sharing: a screenshot or sent document may keep circulating outside the portal. Review it before sharing.
Reports, corrections and deletion
To report content, a disclosure or worrying behaviour, contact Excellia with the page and what you observed. Your child can first tell an adult they trust. Do not include a password, PIN or payment code in the message.
For a request about a profile, creation, certificate or account, use the associated parent email when possible. Specify the item and your request: correction, copy, removal or deletion. The team can check account ownership and explain the consequences and applicable process.
This guide does not set a retention period, deletion deadline or refund rule. Ask Excellia for the details you need before deleting anything if you want to keep learning records.
Troubleshooting
I expected only the username to be visible.
The username is for login, but some screens show the profile name. Review cards and documents before sharing and contact Excellia about correction or removal.
My child saw content that made them uncomfortable.
Stop the activity, listen to your child and note the link or title for a report. Avoid sharing the content further.
I want to delete the account and keep creations.
Save copies already available, then contact Excellia to confirm the items concerned and the consequences before deleting profiles.
