Your guide to learning with Kids

Sign in, try an activity, ask for help and keep your information private.

Children; younger learners can read this guide with an adult.

Updated 26 October 2026

Before you start

  • Your username and PIN, given to you by your parent.
  • A ready device and an Internet connection.

1. Find your space

Open Child login. Enter your username, then your four-digit PIN. Check that you have found your profile. If you forget the code, ask your parent for help: they can change it from their account.

2. Try one thing at a time

Choose an open module. Read the instructions or ask someone to read them with you. Try the action, look at the result and change something if needed. In a quiz, a mistake helps you find what to revisit.

  1. Look at what the activity asks you to do.
  2. Try it yourself, even if you go slowly.
  3. Use the check or finish button when your work is ready.
  4. Return to your learning path and find what you completed.

3. Show what you understood

You can explain your method to your parent, show your drawing or repeat an action without help. Points and badges are encouragements. You do not have to go as fast as anyone else.

If a drawing can be shared, your parent checks it before the gallery. Do not put your address, school, phone number, PIN or family password in a drawing, title or exercise.

  • Does a screen or some content make you uncomfortable? Stop and tell an adult you trust.
  • Is an activity too difficult? Ask for a hint rather than the answers.
  • Need a break? Finish the step if possible and check it is saved before leaving.
  • Finished on a shared device? Sign out.

Troubleshooting

I cannot open the next activity.

Read the message with your parent. You may need to complete the previous step or check your profile’s access.

I do not know which button to use.

Ask an adult to show you once, then try yourself. You can also read the instructions again.

My drawing is not in the gallery.

Ask your parent to check whether it is still waiting for their approval.
