Before you start
- A child’s profile already created in the family account.
- Access to the parent account if the PIN needs changing.
Find the right credentials
The username is generated when the profile is created. Find it on your child’s card in the parent dashboard. The displayed first name and the parent’s email address do not replace this username.
The PIN is a four-digit code chosen by the parent. The dashboard does not display it again: if you no longer know it, choose a new one with Change. The child’s username stays the same.
Open your child’s session
- Open Child login.
- Copy the exact username shown on the parent dashboard.
- At the next step, enter the four-digit PIN.
- Check the opened profile before starting a lesson.
- To switch children on the device, sign out and use the other profile’s username and PIN.
Change a forgotten PIN
Sign in as a parent, find your child’s card and use Change in the Child PIN code block. Enter a new four-digit code and save. Wait for the success message before trying it in child login.
Note the new PIN privately and share it only with the child concerned. The portal cannot retrieve the previous code in plain text. Do not include the new PIN in a support request or publish it alongside the username.
- Do not share the parent password as a workaround for a forgotten PIN.
- Check that saving succeeded before closing the change window.
- You may need to sign out of an older session and sign in again to test the new credentials.
Troubleshooting
The username is not recognised.
Copy the username on the child’s card without adding spaces or changing it. Check that you are not entering the first name instead.
The PIN is rejected.
Check all four digits. If you are unsure of the code, the parent can change it rather than keep guessing.
The right child is signed in but some lessons remain locked.
Identity and access rights are separate checks: review this profile’s progress and subscription in the parent account.
