Before you start
- The correct child’s profile open.
- Access to the relevant lesson and an Internet connection.
Choose a starting point
Paths cover computer discovery, Scratch, the web, Python and artificial intelligence, depending on the offered level. Age is a guide; your child’s experience and confidence matter too. Ask the team about a starting point if the path feels too easy or too difficult.
Modules show their status in the profile: in progress, completed or locked. Some require the previous module to be completed. Expired access can also limit lessons: read the displayed message before treating it as a progress error.
Save a step
- Open an available module, then the lesson to work on.
- Read the instructions and carry out the action. Activities can include reading, a quiz, drawing, a game or a coding exercise.
- In a quiz, select an answer, read the feedback and move to the next question.
- Finish using the lesson’s button and wait for confirmation.
- Return to the learning path to check the updated status and the next available step.
Interpret the results
A quiz result describes answers in that activity; it does not sum up all of your child’s abilities. After a mistake, revisit the instructions and ask them to explain their choice. Use Review when a completed module offers that action.
Badges, chests and points encourage actions completed in the learning path. The leaderboard combines several portal indicators; it is neither a school grade nor a comparison of children’s potential. Focus on observable progress: doing something new, explaining a method or improving a creation.
- Parents can review each profile’s progress from the family account.
- A module certificate and an end-of-path document recognise different stages.
- A short, regular session is an organisational suggestion, not a condition for keeping access.
Troubleshooting
A module stays locked after the previous one.
Check that every step in the previous module is complete, then reopen the learning path. Send support the module and missing lesson if the difference remains.
Results differ between two devices.
Check the same profile and Internet connection on both devices, then refresh the learning path. Do not delete the profile to resynchronise it.
An expected badge or certificate does not appear.
Check the module’s final status and reload the profile. Rewards have different criteria; tell Excellia which activity and message you saw.
