Before you start
- To obtain the document: the child’s profile and completed required steps.
- To verify a document: its printed identifier or verification link.
Understand the documents
A module certificate recognises a completed module. The end-of-path document, labelled diploma in the portal, recognises completion of the relevant path. These are Excellia Kids learning documents: they should not be presented as a school diploma or academic equivalence.
Issuing depends on the required steps recorded in the profile. A badge, leaderboard rank or opening the document page does not replace those steps.
Get and keep a copy
- Open the relevant profile and check the completed module or end of the path.
- Use the certificate or diploma link offered there.
- Check the displayed name, title and date before sharing.
- Use Print certificate. In the browser’s print dialog, choose a printer or save as PDF if your device offers it.
- Keep a copy and its identifier. If the name or content is wrong, request a correction from Excellia rather than editing the document yourself.
Verify authenticity
The verification page is public. Enter the exact identifier on the document or use its QR code. Identifiers beginning EKL-DIP- refer to end-of-path documents; other formats refer to module certificates.
A valid result confirms a matching record for the identifier and displays the associated information. It does not establish external accreditation or professional competence. A missing result may be due to a typing error or an older document not recorded in this system; ask Excellia to check if needed.
Choose what to share
Verification may show the child’s name, module or path and issue date to anyone who has the identifier. Before publishing a certificate or its QR code on social media, the parent should review the information this makes accessible.
For a correction or removal, contact Excellia with the identifier and request, using the parent email when possible. Do not send a password or PIN.
Troubleshooting
The certificate link does not appear.
Check all module steps in the correct profile, then reload the learning path. Tell Excellia the module and observed status if the difference remains.
Verification says the document cannot be found.
Copy the identifier with its hyphens and no extra spaces. For an older document or a result still missing, ask Excellia to check using a copy and the identifier.
Printing cuts off the document.
Try landscape and fit-to-page in print settings. Check the preview before printing or saving a PDF.
