Before you start
- An up-to-date browser with JavaScript and site storage allowed.
- An Internet connection to sign in, load lessons and save progress.
Choose for the activity
A computer with a keyboard and mouse makes coding and exercises with several actions easier. A tablet can suit reading, quizzes and drawing; the drawing area supports finger input. On a phone, check the activity’s usability before planning a full session.
The layout adapts to small screens, but not all tasks are equally comfortable with touch. A page opening on mobile does not guarantee that every exercise can be completed without a keyboard. Excellia Kids runs in the browser; the Excellia CRM APK is for a different product.
Check before the session
- Open Kids in the browser and sign in to the correct profile.
- Check that a lesson loads and that text and buttons are readable.
- Try a small action: answer a quiz question, draw a line or type some text, depending on the path.
- Adjust zoom for comfortable reading. On a tablet, compare portrait and landscape.
- Keep the connection until confirmation, then check progress in the learning path.
Slow connections, video and accessibility
The portal saves progress over the Internet. An already open page is not a guarantee of offline work. If the connection drops, avoid closing unsaved work; reconnect and check confirmation before leaving.
The browser may block automatic video playback or sound. Use the available play control and check the device volume. For an accessibility need, specify the activity, equipment and help required: keyboard only, speech output, captions or visual adaptation. The team can confirm what is possible for the relevant content; this guide does not promise universal support.
Troubleshooting
A button or part of the exercise is off screen.
Check zoom and try landscape on a tablet. If needed, continue on a computer and tell Excellia the page and screen size.
The page is blank or keeps returning to login.
Check Internet access and browser storage settings. Refresh once. Avoid clearing all browsing data before saving work and noting your credentials.
A touch action does not work.
Try the same activity on a computer with mouse and keyboard, then report the device type and exact action. Do not assume the result was saved.
