Before you start
- An idea of your preferred field and current experience.
Start with a manageable objective
The programme presents six fields: interface design, web development, data analysis, digital marketing, artificial intelligence and digital entrepreneurship. Choose a small result you would like to produce.
- Interfaces: a three-screen prototype for a fictional service.
- Web: a readable page with a working link.
- Data: an indicator calculated and explained using fictional data.
- Marketing: a fictional campaign plan without publishing or buying advertising.
- AI: a comparison of prompts with checked results.
- Entrepreneurship: a need statement and assumptions to test.
Prepare useful information
- Explain what you can already do, even without a qualification.
- Choose one or two fields and a simple project.
- Describe available equipment and connectivity constraints.
- State your availability and preferred working language.
- Ask the team to confirm the target audience, prerequisites, schedule, format and applicable terms.
Check equipment before starting
A computer with a keyboard makes creation and testing easier. Confirm the software, any accounts and connectivity needed for the chosen pathway. Do not purchase a software subscription based only on an example on the website.
Choose between Kids and Youth
Excellia Kids presents pathways for ages 5–17. Youth Digital Academy is a separate programme whose audience and prerequisites should be confirmed with the team. The choice depends on age, experience and the project; a Kids account does not automatically enrol someone in Youth.
Troubleshooting
I am a complete beginner.
Mention this in your first conversation and give an example of what you want to learn. The team can help clarify an appropriate starting point.
I need dates and pricing.
Ask Excellia for current availability and terms. This documentation does not establish a session, price or certification.
